Mission & Vision
Mision
To be recognized and preferred internationally as an institution for education, research, and field applications in the fields of design, planning and preservation. In order to achieve this mission, our faculty;
- conduct research at an international level in the fields of planning, design, and field applications,
- teach curricula that covers most recent scientific innovations with an interdisciplinary understanding,
- train creative, hard-working, research oriented, problem solving, always up-to-date architects, planners, industrial designers, academicians in these fields who are cognizant of their social responsibilities.
Vision
Planning of new, livable settlements, identifying and solving physical and social problems associated with existing natural and built environments, preserving the historic fabric and the buildings it comprises, and designing contemporary spaces and objects for humans. This vision is realized through education and research carried out by the four departments under the faculty.
